It takes a Nobody, to make a difference to Somebody

Every day, faces pass by. Hardly the same faces ever seen again. No one knows and no one cares. A gesture of kindness goes unnoticed, a smile is barely seen. But to somebody, that little kindness makes a whole world of difference. The curl of a smile lifts the sunken soul.

So many people in the world with warm hearts and kindness. Giving that little bit of encouragement to someone that has lost all hope, expecting nothing in return except knowing made a difference to somebody’s life.

Be it a teacher, a doctor, a taxi driver, or the road sweeper, anyone can give a little bit of kindness that will go a long, long way. The doctors, the nurses, all the emergency services that try to protect the lives of others. A homeless passing by that lends a helping hand. The aid workers, the journalists, all those that want to spread the word of hope and peace.

Those that trek through snowy blizzards to save a life, and those that cross the burning desserts; without a name, yet their faces never forgotten. Each of them leaving a legacy of love that will never be forgotten.

To all those that put others first, remember – all the kindness and good deeds never go unnoticed. Through the hardest of times, do not be disheartened. Each good turn will eventually bring hope and reward. Thank you to everyone that has supported those in need, tirelessly working to make someone’s life better.

It takes a Nobody to make a difference to Somebody, but that Nobody is always Someone special and never forgotten.

Your Questions Answered…

Firstly, Eid Mubarak To Everyone!

I don’t know about any of you, but I’ve certainly not lost any weight! Lost a few pounds during fasting, only to gain three times as much after the Eid feast! But hey, can anyone resist an Eid feast?!

I want to say thank you to all those that have written in. I’ve enjoyed reading your comments and questions that some of you asked. Some questions were similar so I thought why not post them for all. Hopefully now I can look forward to answering some new questions!

Where do you spend your Eid holidays?

It depends where I am and the rest of the family. Normally, I prefer to be in Pakistan during Eid Al Adha for the Qurbani’s, it is wonderful being able to share the meat out. Currently, I have spent this Eid Al Fitr with family in England.

Which is your favourite country that you like travelling to the most?

To be honest, I don’t really have a favourite, each country has its own special qualities and I love each one that I travel to. For me I like to experience the cultures and the traditional ways of life, I think that’s what makes it so fascinating for me as each is different. My most recent visit was to China, and I found it to be such a beautiful country and the people so friendly.

Would you ever write a children’s book?

Em, now funny you should ask me that – I already do have an idea churning in my head for a children’s book. So hopefully yes in the future, as they say watch this space!

Is there anyone famous that you have met or would like to meet?

Wow, I’ve never been asked this question before! To be honest I’m not sure if there is a particular person in mind as there are a lot of wonderful famous inspiring people. But as a child I did meet the late Princess Diana, that was awesome, I can still remember her in a blue outfit with white shoes. Such a warm personality. I don’t think there is anyone in the world today that I can honestly say can top that experience for me, she was one of a kind and I feel privileged to have met her.

What inspired you to write FORGIVENESS, HAJJ: Once In A Lifetime?

Well, to be honest it’s a combination of a lot of things. I’ve always wanted to share knowledge on the way of life and the similarities of other faiths. I think the biggest inspiration for me was actually making that journey myself and experiencing the beauty of Hajj. The whole journey was beautiful.

How long does it take to write a book?

Good question! It varies. For some authors, they can churn out a novel or two within a year, whilst some it may take a year or two or even longer. But I think there is no real answer to that as it depends on the story one is writing, personal circumstances i.e. whether one is a full time or part time writer. For me, I’d say on average two years. The ideas are there churning in my head – sometimes two or three books ahead  – I just wish I could type a thousand times faster!

Your words are inspiring, who was your writing inspiration in life?

I think the biggest inspiration for my writing as a child would have to be my parents and teachers from Primary school onwards. My parents for introducing me to the library at the age of two! Ever since I have always loved to read books, imagining that one day I’d see my book on the shelf. To this day, I do still regularly visit my local library. I prefer to have a hard copy book to read in my hand than an ebook – holding an actual paper book has that great magical feeling! My English teachers have too been a great inspiration. I have always loved to write and at times got carried away! Once I got told off by my English teacher for writing a 20 page essay, she said she was expecting a two or three page essay not a novel! She spent the whole night marking it – but she loved it and I got an A grade.

What advise can you give to someone that wants to write?

Read, read and read more. The more you read from various sources, it will help your chances to becoming a great writer. Nobody is perfect. Many authors have their own writing styles, some may disapprove of other’s, but as long as written clearly and captures your audience you’re on your way. Always proof read your work, and get someone else to read it too. A fresh eye will see common mistakes that you may miss, it can happen!

If you weren’t a writer what would you have done instead?

Well, I suppose apart from paintings and into art, I would have gone into fashion designing. I love sewing and sew nearly all my outfits, a gift I have inherited from my dear mother who is a great seamstress!

What is the idea of your next book?

Emm…I’m not sure if I can reveal that just yet! Let’s say it is completely different to what I have written already, this one is a bit more adventurous, finding lost treasure with a pinch of past history…!

A time to reflect…and be thankful…

WOW! It is already coming towards the end of June – where has the time gone?!

It most definitely has been a while since I last wrote anything!

The last few months have been really busy since recently returning from my travels in the Far East, working on new projects and also with writing my next book (hopefully coming soon 2017 – as they say watch this space)!

With the month of Ramzan upon us, it has been a time to reflect and be thankful for all the blessings. Already we are now in the last ten days of the month of Ramzan. It is said that there is more blessing in submitting one’s time in prayers in the last ten days.

It has been said by scholars that Aisha, (peace be upon her) asked the Messenger (peace be upon him) ‘O Messenger of Allah! If I knew which night is Laylat ul-Qadr what should I say during it?’ And he instructed her to say ‘Allahumma innaka afuwwun tuhibb ul-afwa fa’fu anni’ (O Allah! You are forgiving and You love forgiveness: forgive me).

It is one of the reasons that no one knows exactly which night Laylat ul-Qadr is. One should not limit their prayers to just one night in the year. One should pray each night and hope for Allah’s acceptance and blessings. So my dearest Readers, make use of your time in what is important and will be rewarding in the Hereafter.

As always, my prayers are with you all. May Allah grant your prayers on these final blessed ten days of Ramzan and shower you with a thousand blessings. May Allah ease the burdens of those enduring much sorrow and hardship, that they feel peace and content in their hearts. May Allah always guide us on the right path for a greater reward. Ameen.

Thank You

What a start to 2016! For many of us already in depths of snow and out on our sleighs, whilst some enjoying the glorious hot sunshine, wherever you are in the world may your days be full of peace and happiness!

For me, whether it sunshine, rain or snow I am chuffed to bits! I wish to say a very BIG Thank You to all those that have purchased FORGIVENESS, HAJJ: Once In A Lifetime. The proceeds over the past year have enabled us to get much more supplies out to the poor and needy, especially in war torn areas where currently winter is at its harshest. And a very BIG Thank You to all those that have generously donated!

For me it gives great satisfaction knowing that from my writing and all your support we can make a difference. Seeing a child smile is one of the greatest pleasures that can touch one’s heart. And for those that have not yet purchased a book – why wait! Go ahead, grab a copy and make your contribution to help a child in desperate need of warmth and love.

Thank you again and I wish you all the very best wishes.

A Little Knowledge Goes A Long Way

When going through bereavement it is hard enough to deal with, but when one’s life is taken unlawfully how can one make sense of it.

Much sadness and turmoil is enveloped around the world today. Much anger and hatred. Children growing up seeing their family members slaughtered by war. Is it surprising that they grow up with hatred and seeing nothing but revenge. Parents that witness their children being shot and blown away by military. War brings no answer and seems lessons have still not been learnt. End one war and another will start in retaliation. As I have always maintained, to resolve the conflict is to deal with the root of the problem.

How many of you have read the story of The Sleepers of the Cave? A story told within many faiths, but some centuries ago the story has since been forgotten amongst the Christians and Catholics. There is a lesson within that story and every Friday many Muslims read the chapter within the Quran that makes reference to The Sleepers of the Cave. Many, many centuries ago when many were under persecution for believing in Allah just like in The Sleepers of the Cave, so too were the Prophets like Prophet Moses (peace be upon him) escaping from Pharaoh, Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) under Roman rule, and during the times of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as he escaped persecution in Mecca and took refuge in Medina – it is revealed in the Quran and made clear that no one has any right to torture another because of their belief. In the Quran it states where there is a threat and one is not allowed to follow their belief, one has the right to fight back. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) fought back with his army. Many battles were fought against the non believers that would not allow the believers to follow their religion. Many believers died fighting for their religion. That was Jihad then. Fighting for peace and to be able to live freely to follow their religion. But today – this war from ISIL is not Jihad. The translations of the Quran have been manipulated to justify for those that carry out suicide attacks. Killing one self is a grave sin. But in today’s modern world, one should stand up and fight back with knowledge and words, not bombs.

What I find most heartbreaking is the lack of knowledge amongst people, instead they are fuelled with hatred and anger by the manipulation of the Media and Western Governments. How is it when a white American non Muslim goes on a shooting spree in schools and colleges is labelled as mentally insane, a white British non Muslim attacking a Sikh with a machete in a supermarket is labelled mentally insane, yet a Muslim that shoots and kills is labelled an Islamic Terrorist? How is it Saddam Hussein and Colonel Gaddafi were targeted and overthrown and labelled as corrupt and accused of war crimes, yet it is ok for the Israeli Prime Minister to allow his military men to slaughter over 2000 Palestinian civilians in 2014? How is it young boys playing football on the beach like any other day end up being blown up by Israeli missiles? Is it any wonder that this generation is growing up with much hatred towards Western Governments for allowing such war crimes to continue. And what actions has the United Nations taken?

This is why the next generation is growing up with hatred against the West. This must end now. Those of you that believe will know right from wrong. One should stand up and challenge their Government’s foreign policies. Western nations that talk of democracy, equality, diversity – yet they have their own agenda and manipulate people to thinking Muslims are terrorists. It is not Muslims that are terrorists, but individuals that do not believe and hearts filled with greed. Israeli, American and British Governments are no different from ISIL. Just as Al Quada was created by Americans to destroy the Soviet Union, ISIL too has been created to destroy Syria and gain control towards Russia and Iran all because of greed and wanting superiority – whilst they let Israel rampage and continue to wipe out many innocent Palestinians civilians. It is truly heartbreaking and saddening to see many innocent deaths around the world. There is only so much grief and tears a heart can carry.

My message to the Western World Leaders is for once put your greed to be superior over other nations aside – you will never win a war that is unjustified no matter how many times you bomb it. The people of Afghanistan have not forgotten the innocent civilians that were bombed at a wedding party by the American military, and it was not just once that they targeted innocent civilians at a wedding party. Most recently innocent people were killed at a hospital in Kunduz – again deliberately bombed by American military. This is violation of human rights. Wherever you go, you always leave chaos. Sixty eight years on and the people of Kashmir are still suffering because of what the British Government did. The real historians that have studied in depth know that it was not Hitler alone that started World War 2, Britain was not so innocent in its part that destroyed many lives. Iraq and Libya have been destroyed and left in pieces – and in place created monsters for your own greed. Reality is – until Gaza is resolved for the Palestinians, will there be stability and peace in the world – until then do not be surprised when your own cities are attacked as it is yourselves that continue to supply weapons and ammunition to the so called groups created by yourselves and Israel. This hatred and anger needs to stop now. It is time for change. Time for peace and most importantly treat each nation fairly and equally. To gain respect, one most show respect to others. My words may be harsh, but they are the truth. Many Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Jews, Catholics and all those that believe echo my words – we all stand together for peace and harmony for our brothers and sisters around the world.

And my Dearest Readers, we all have a choice. So all I ask is for you all to stand up and challenge your Government’s policies. Question their actions. Do not be fooled by the Government’s and Media’s interpretations. Understand your neighbours. Stop those that are in the wrong. Learn and teach others the way of life as it is set out in the law. Protect the vulnerable that are brainwashed in destroying lives. Bombs are not the answer and they never will be. One that truly believes will know how sacred life is and would never hurt another. Speak out with your words – for words of wisdom and knowledge will go a long way to bring peace and understanding.

As many will be celebrating Thanksgiving this weekend – remember Thanksgiving is to being grateful, kind and generous every single day of the year. With the celebrations continuing into December of the birth of Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) and the year coming to an end – say a prayer for all those whose lives have been taken by wars of violence. Pray for your brothers and sisters around the world that have innocently lost their lives. Pray for the good hearted aid workers that travelled to war torn places to offer their charity and support, only to lose their lives and never return home. Pray for the honest journalists that reported the truth for the people,  only to lose their lives too in conflicts of war. Pray for those that left their homes to start a new life abroad, only to be caught up in war and never getting the chance to return to their loved ones. Pray for each of them, for prayers will bring much peace to their souls and know that they will never be forgotten. Let the New Year be full of promise. Give this generation hope to live for. It is written that until the Last Day there will always be an enemy amongst us – but together we can fight off evil and those that cause destruction.

My Dearest Readers, look after yourselves, hold patience in your hearts, never give up on hope and never stop believing in your Creator. My prayers to all of you and may Allah shower you all with a thousand blessings, may our hearts be eased from the burdens of heartache and sorrow. Ameen.

A Time For Forgiveness & Compassion

My dearest Readers,

One of the sacred months is upon us again. Mubarak to all those that have completed their Hajj today, and wishing you all a safe journey back home. For those that have fasted on this auspicious day, may all your duas be granted and hearts be full of peace. Ameen.

I wish each and every one of you a wonderful Eid for tomorrow. Spare a thought for all those that are stranded with no home and no food. Times are hard for many. Please hold patience and peace in your hearts for the travellers that come your way. Because one way or another, we are all migrants too, if not directly ourselves but through our ancestors. From the Irish back in the 1800’s that travelled across the Atlantic in large numbers during the Great Famine in search for a better life, the Europeans that travelled halfway around the world to Australia in search of gold. All looking for a better life and fortune. Whilst some like our past Prophets, escaping from war and persecution. Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him) with his nephew escaping from evil, Prophet Moses (peace be upon him) escaping from the hands of Pharaoh, and Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) migrating from Mecca to Medina to escape his enemies.

Today is no different. Someone somewhere is escaping from one thing or another. Allah has created a spacious Earth for all to live in. For those that have no choice but to seek refuge and move away from evil. It is written that those that provide help will be rewarded…and the hypocrites will be punished.

So please hold patience and compassion. And yes, we are also too aware that amongst the refugees escaping from fear and evil that not everyone is genuine. Amongst them are those that are taking advantage of the situation for their own personal greed. Those that say they fear their lives from war and persecution, yet they leave their mothers, wives and children behind. Cowards that cannot stand up for what is right, and hide amongst the weak and vulnerable.

All we can do is overlook and not judge, for Allah is the Judge of all mankind and those that have come seeking refuge under false pretences will face their fate. But in your hearts you will know, you will know those that are in desperate need of help.

So my dearest Readers, follow the path of honesty, believe and have faith in your Creator and enjoy this time with your friends, family and neighbours. Offer warmth and kindness to those that have nothing. For your every good deed will be noted. Have a wonderful Eid wherever you are in the world.

Eid Mubarak!!!

My Dearest Readers,

Eid Mubarak to each and every one of you! From the Far East to Asia and across the Atlantic, may Allah shower you all with many peace and blessings. Ameen.

And what great timing as the summer holiday season starts too! I hope each and every one of you around the world has lots of fun and enjoy this festive day today, and the days that follow.

And remember – prayers and giving to charity is not just in the month of Ramzan. One should pray regularly and give charity regularly (be careful as unfortunately not all charities are genuine – check them out first). Apart from Zakat, Saddka can be given any time throughout the year. One that puts Saddka away daily and then gives to the poor will be spared from calamities.

Blessed are those that regularly give to charity, be it night or day. Blessed are those that look after the elderly in their old age. Blessed are those that remember Allah, and in regular prayers.

I wish you all lots of happiness. Look after each other and help those in need. Have a wonderful summer.

Ramzan Mubarak…

…to everyone!

All around the world Muslims spend the month of Ramzan in submission to Allah. Fasting to bring content spiritually and mentally. Ramzan is experienced throughout all elements and seasons around the world. Some of us currently fasting 12 hours a day, whilst some over 18 hours a day.

But spare a thought for those that do not have a home. Barely have a decent meal to open their fast in the evening. Refugees scattered across all continents, with only the clothes they wear as their only possession. Yet they have hope. A strong belief for goodness to come.

Ramzan is a month of asking for forgiveness. It is a month of giving. Helping the poor and needy.

There is much sadness and turmoil in today’s world. Much dishonesty, crime, hatred, brothers and sisters fighting amongst themselves. Less people in prayers and more into the materialistic wonders of this world. Yet Allah has spared us from the wrath that many periled from centuries past. Do not forget all that has happened from the times of the Prophets. Allah shows mercy. It is from those whose hearts hold goodness and honesty that Allah has spared us from destruction. Each second of the day someone somewhere in the world is in prayer to their Lord. Each second of the day an Azan takes place, a web of voices that follow one after another around the world. The world is in continuous prayer so that Allah will have mercy and spare us from difficulties and burdens. It is not just the Muslims in prayer, there are those of other faiths that too keep the word of Allah alive. Those that truly believe in the original word of Allah, be it from the Bible, Torah, Gospel or Psalms, whether it be in their own place of worship or even just in their own homes, Allah does hear.

My dear friends, pray for peace, and donate generously to the poor and needy.

And please, please do not feast excessively during the month of Ramzan in the evenings. We all have cravings to eat all sorts of savoury, spicy and sweet dishes in the evening. Go easy on the tummy! As it says in the Quran ‘Eat and drink, but avoid excess, or My wrath will descend upon you!’ (Surah 20:81)

Me personally, I look forward to a nice cup of brewed Tetley tea in the evening once I have opened my fast…ahh! Nothing beats a cup of chai!

My blessings to each and every one of you. May each day be blessed. May our burdens be eased. May our prayers be granted. Ameen.

Back To Basics

First the politics….

Last week I sat enjoying the company of my three friends at a local café and the election debate started. Now I don’t know about you, but I’m finding the current hype of the UK election quite tiring! Same old, same old speeches…

One being a Conservative supporter, the other Labour and one still undecided, whilst the fourth having no interest at all – that being me! Now one of my dearest friends is a Councillor for his party so catching me roll my eyes with a huge sigh and gaze into distance to enjoy the glorious April weather, invited me to join him on his tour and meet the people of his constituency. Seeing the lack of political enthusiasm from me he thought if I hear issues and concerns that people want the parties to deal with, I may then realise just how important politics is and take a bit more interest.

Only credit I have for politics is that unlike some governments in other countries, they are more civil to each other, no punching in the face or chair throwing at opponents!

With a big grin on my face, I said yes. The thought of having a walk around the city in this wonderful April weather (which can be a rarity this time of year in England) was something to look forward to. Plus I could do with losing some weight!

So next day I stepped out in my spring outfit and in my white walking pumps. The sun was out and the sky was blue. Great start to the day!

So in the glorious sun I shadowed my friend and his colleagues in the city, from house to house, from one passer by to the next in the street. We met a wide range of people, from all sorts of backgrounds, cultures, occupations and of all ages. It was a wonderful experience. Quite an eye opener really.

Whilst listening to the people’s concerns, of which the various topics are more or less voiced everywhere around the UK, I found it quite disturbing to find how people of this nation where the government provides free schools, free health care, decent legal system and housing; yet in some parts of the city people’s standard of living is far worse than an average person in a third world country.

I found it quite shocking to hear that there are children in poverty, a high number of homeless people, high unemployment, young children out on the streets, teenagers being abused and groomed, bedroom tax. Bedroom tax…? You taxed sleeping in a bed?! Too many immigrants, high crime, poorer pass grades for school leavers…the list is endless…and my dear friend’s assistant noted all the concerns and my friend promising what he would do if he was elected.

I listened to a group of residents in one area we came across, saying the government had done this and the government had done that and that they have no money to feed the children and that they will starve to death. A terrible shiver ran down me hearing this. Another couple said that they had no money to feed the children, a benefit changed and were still waiting for the money, so far one and a half weeks with no money and every day at food banks.

I agree times are hard for most, high energy costs, mortgages and rent. But it is all down to common sense. Why live beyond your means? And for the unemployed the government does provide support, ok it does not always get it right first time, but if one checks and questions then everyone should be receiving exactly what they are entitled to.

The wise words of wisdom from my elders were ringing in my ears, words wanting to burst out from my lips as I stood listening. Why do people not save for such rainy days?

Three hours later, I was exhausted and my feet were killing me!

So, has my opinion changed in politics…?

Am I more into politics and do I believe in politicians to make a change? The answer is a big fat NO! Well to be fair, some Members of Parliament and Councillors do work hard in their roles the best they can, some work much harder than others. But they are not responsible for our lifestyles. It is down to us as individuals, as citizens to make that change and here comes the important part to make that change…

Back to basics…

Remember those phrasessave for a rainy day’ and ‘respect your elders’ and ‘cleanliness is being close to God’?

So why is that such a rarity in modern day Britain? It really breaks my heart, so disheartening to see so many people with no meaning in their lives. I alone cannot make that change, and neither can anyone – but what I can say is that one of the most important pieces of advice that I have constantly heard from my elders is that goodness starts from the heart, goodness brings blessings, blessings from the home that spread to your garden, to your neighbours and community. Goodness and blessings bring content and inner peace.

Upon God’s command the Angels taught the first man to work hard. Taught him how to sow seed for food, plough the fields, harvest the crop and to be thankful for a good harvest. He was taught right from wrong, he was taught how important cleanliness is, and the meaning of prayer.

Ok, I don’t expect us all to start farming in fields, that won’t happen, not if you live in the cities. But my point is, how many of us are thankful for the food that we have? How many of us actually make the effort to cook from fresh?

Making that effort, using one’s own skill, being thankful and grateful will bring many blessings, one will feel so much content from deep within and it is so much cheaper than buying greasy takeaways. I personally, always cook from fresh, hardly ever purchase a takeaway, unless travelling and away from home.

So next day, I did my own research to see what benefits are available at the lowest rate and popped out to the cheapest stores I know of locally, that being Aldi and Lidl, and surprisingly I was amazed at what I could purchase for just £10! I loved the super buy aisles, a selection of fruit and vegetables at only 49p!

My advice is, especially to the youngsters, don’t fall into this trap of poverty. Leave school with something to fall back on. Either get into college, apprenticeships or employment. Get the education. Save your earnings. Stay with your parents/guardians until you have saved enough money for a deposit. There is no sense moving out, being on a Council waiting list, being passed around from one shelter to the next as there is the danger of being left out on the streets.

Those of you that are on Housing Benefits, don’t let the Landlords bully you either – they are making millions from Tenants with Housing Benefit claims – make sure your rented accommodation is fit for purpose, otherwise report them to your local Council. Don’t live in appalling conditions. There are people out there that can help.

As I say, goodness starts from the home, a good clean home provides security, children grow up with respect, safe and not vulnerable out on the streets into the paths of criminals that we so often hear of.

I was lucky enough at the age of sixteen, stepping out into the big wide world, to find employment with a wonderful mentor whose advice now that I am into my thirties is still invaluable today as it was then.

I would so often hear from my grandparent’s generation that there are three things one should never rely on in the UK and to always be prepared, firstly never rely on the British weather, secondly never rely that employment is guaranteed and thirdly…well, that’s a story that I will come back to another time!

I constantly advise the youngsters and even the elders how important it is to have an education. How important it is not to fall into traps by companies that provide services where it could end up costing you a fortune. It is important to keep records, because believe me this modern world has become a culture of greed, dishonesty, innocent people falling into traps where there is a lack of knowledge and no one prepared to take the time to advise and be honest.

So…

Put money away for rainy days

Take the time to prepare a decent meal

Respect those around you – understand others belief and cultures to live peacefully

Only pay by credit card if you know you can pay it off at the end of the month

Don’t live beyond your means (and ditch those cigarettes and alcohol – the money you will save)!

Never rely on a benefit as a guaranteed income, or even employment

Don’t pay for legal matters until you have done your research (what would we do without Google eh!) A lawyer will not tell you this but quite a lot of legal matters can be dealt with without the need of a lawyer!

If there is ever a time in your life where you are unemployed, take advantage of this time to learn more, do a course that will give you more skills for a better job – after all it is free if you are unemployed!

Always, always read any letters or documents, or get someone to read them for you, many a times I have seen people fall into the trap of not reading and then getting themselves into huge debts.

Treat those around you fairly and with respect. Be role models. People will see and change too seeing your example.

Have a clean mind, clean body and clean words. Whilst walking through the different areas of the city I found it shocking to hear children of primary school age using foul language.

Set a good example so that others can follow.

Look after yourself mentally and healthy, after all the NHS is struggling and the government won’t advise you what healthy diet to eat – think of all the state pensions they would have to pay out if we lived longer! Briefly they hinted to a Mediterranean diet to gain popularity and votes that they are genuinely concerned – yet that suggestion seems to have disappeared into thin air and the Councils continuously grant permission to open more greasy takeaways – where is the logic in that!

And more importantly wipe out the hatred that the media creates over immigration…Ok I agree it does need to be more in control, again another British phrase what goes round comes round twice as hard comes to mind! I don’t recall anywhere in the history books that India sent an invitation to the late Queen Victoria for her British Empire to rule the Indian sub continent, or even Africa for that matter. Did the Aborigines have any say when the British decided to settle in Australia and push them away, or how about the Red Indians in America? The world belongs to us all, no one has a right to say where one does or does not belong. There have already been too many awful incidents throughout history, the constant invasions and havoc caused by nations that still haunt many in today’s world. It is the British politicians that made the decision of where to place the Jews, to this day there has been no peace in the Middle East. It was the British politicians that made the decision to sign over Kashmir with approximately 80% Muslim population to India – where is the sense to that and to this day there still is unrest. The British decided to take control of Falkland Islands, Northern Ireland…Britain seems to put its foot in quite a lot of places…so when a few Polish arrive, Romanians arrive, Somalians arrive – we get quite defensive – at least they come peacefully and not armed with weapons, and they work hard to make a living, whilst some yes do take advantage of the benefit system. But British government allows it to happen for its own political agenda.

Don’t let the politicians play you as individuals with each other, because that is exactly what they are doing, same goes for some religious leaders too. Let us not forget that there are a lot of wonderful people of all backgrounds that have contributed so much to Britain, and hard working British people that have offered so much support to the needy abroad during bad times.

A true believer has no room for hatred in their heart.

Knowledge is Wisdom – so make your own stand for peace.

Learn from history, make your own decisions, use your own judgement and common sense to know what is the truth because the politicians or some of these religious leaders will not bring you content or clear your debts, and as for the media – well they only cause mischief!

Have faith, have belief, work honestly, live peacefully with your neighbours, spend wisely and you will see the rewards come in. Life is not always easy, it was not meant to be – but to be tested on how we deal with it.

I don’t have a magic wand, but if any of you would like to share your thoughts about the issues or anything (within reason of course!), feel free to contact me -after all its free advice!
