Eid Mubarak to each and every one of you! From the Far East to Asia and across the Atlantic, may Allah shower you all with many peace and blessings. Ameen.

And what great timing as the summer holiday season starts too! I hope each and every one of you around the world has lots of fun and enjoy this festive day today, and the days that follow.

And remember – prayers and giving to charity is not just in the month of Ramzan. One should pray regularly and give charity regularly (be careful as unfortunately not all charities are genuine – check them out first). Apart from Zakat, Saddka can be given any time throughout the year. One that puts Saddka away daily and then gives to the poor will be spared from calamities.

Blessed are those that regularly give to charity, be it night or day. Blessed are those that look after the elderly in their old age. Blessed are those that remember Allah, and in regular prayers.
